The Clamp model 6 features a static thread, which allows you to clamp to wide surfaces without the clamp's thread hanging out the side of the clamp in harms way.

Okay

The little bubble vial level lost it's fluid, but we were able to get a replacement and it was only two screws to swap the bubble assembly over. I was a bit disappointed that the liquid came out of the bubble, but we do use it all the time, so I guess it was bound to happen at some point. Other than that it is a good clamp.
