The TP-L6 pipe laser’s smaller size, long-life battery and mobile app make the unit one of the most flexible pipe lasers on the market. This pipe laser is easier to use, fits into tighter spaces, and increases convenience and safety for workers.
Topcon pipe lasers are known for their quality. They were the first to provide green beams and auto alignment. They have the longest lasting battery on the market and now they're the first to offer a mobile app to check and control the instrument without climbing into holes.

Laser Manager, the new mobile app, puts many of the most common pipe laser functions directly on the user’s own device, such as:

  • Automatic target acquisition
  • Move the laser’s beam left, right or centre
  • Check grade status
  • Activating the optional plumb beam
  • Set or calculate grade angle
  • Change laser mode to steady, flashing or low-power
  • Check battery status
  • Viewing an electronic bubble level
  • This new functionality increases the speed of setting up the laser and reduces time workers spend in holes, low light situations and cramped spaces.

    I didn't actually buy this laser in NZ, I brought it back to NZ with me just before lockdown but Trig Instruments service all our gear here, so I thought I would give this laser a plug for them. I have used it for my drainage work in both Australia and NZ, but the thing that really stands out is how it really stands out! Green lasers are so bright compared to red lasers and we can see the beam way better in broad daylight than we ever could with red lasers. This combined with a really easy to use keypad makes this a dream to use. I haven't looked in to the phone app features yet but from what they showed me when I bought it, it sounds pretty good.
