Handy around the kitchen and home

I use this around the the home but in the kitchen mostly, checking the temperature for frying, water temperature for home brewing etc. I also use it for checking the forehead temperature on the kids if they are feeling unwell, plus a hundred other uses. It's really handy because it is instant and you don't have to touch the surface of the thing you want to measure. I can go from checking a sick kid, to seeing how warm the bath water is and then in to the kitchen without worrying about cross-contamination etc. so it's really handy to have around.
